An A.A. Conference focusing on applying the 12 Traditions & 12 Concepts in All Our Affairs.
To be held July 8, 6:00 PM PDT through July 10, 3:00 PM PDT
Here we offer something a lot of people aren’t familiar with. The Unity & Service Conference focuses on experiences with our 2nd & 3rd Legacies … speakers talking about the Traditions and Concepts, and how they apply them in all areas of their life. Some of the exciting speakers will be; Jimmy D. from Texas, our new Pacific Region Trustee, Riley W. from Oregon, Class “A” Trustee Linda Chezem, and a couple talking about practicing the three legacies in their Relationship; plus workshops and opportunities for service.
This is the only conference we know of that focuses on these 2 Legacies, so please join us July 8 – 10, at the Concord Hilton.
Includes Al-Anon participation.
The Unity and Service Conference stands out as the premiere gathering to promote interest in the 12 Traditions and 12 Concepts of AA. The content specifically caters to sponsored members who have worked the steps, but might not yet have a strong grasp of these two important areas. It is the Conference’s hope that attending members will be inspired to volunteer for General Service, as well as discover more ways to put the principles of AA into their everyday lives.
The seed for the Unity and Service Conference appeared in 2012 and sprouted from the friendly conversations of two Love and Service Group members. Almost by accident, Bob D. and Kent D started the local conversation about expanding service and awareness of the Traditions and Concepts. These two men were on fire for the Concepts and Traditions and wanted the world to know it! How could they get more people interested? How could they inspire more service? How could they share their own experience strength and hope with the AA World?
