GSR meeting was March 6th, 2024

Twelve people attended; six in-person and six via Zoom.

No Treasurer's Report

DCM report:
    Mike went to the ACM in Sacramento, and drove up with Simon, who is the DCM of District 55, our Spanish speaking District (which happens to have its District Office in Visalia on Mooney Boulevard).  District 55 is hosting the Post-Conference Assembly in Huron, and Simon asked Mike if we could supply some English-speaking volunteers for that event: registration, and snack-bar, and general support.  The Post-Conference Assembly will be May 18 & 19.  Mike worked on the flyer, and we went to the Post-Conference Assembly planning meeting March 7th.

New business

    Discussed and approved funding DCM to attend the Pre-Conference Assembly in Turlock (Denair): $175.  If anyone wants to carpool, Mike is going up.
    
    Discussed getting access to the Agenda Items and Background Material for the Pre-Conference Assembly.  The material is on the cnia.org web site > Resources > Delegate's Page > Confidential Downloads.  You'll need the password.
    
    Agenda Items Workshop at New Life Community Church 2165 E Gettysburg, Clovis, CA on Saturday March 23rd, from 1 to 3 PM.
    
    Discussed the Area 7 Archives rental location, and rent increase.
    
    GSO sent out a questionaire: AA Founders writings; How should we treat them?
    
    Area Delegate Discussion regarding the above questions presented by GSO for group consideration on the future of AA Founder's writings, such as the Big Book and Twelve & Twelve. Delegate will also hold Zoom meetings March 7th, 14th, and 21st. Visit cnia.org > Events
