Our August CSR Meeting was held 2023-08-08. The meeting could have been a hybrid meeting, but no members joined via Zoom. There were twelve people present in-person. Central Office finances: for June 21 through July 20, Central Office had income of $3,792.15 and expenses of $6,777.26 for a loss of $2,985.11. The major expenses were annual sales tax and quarterly payroll tax. Old business: 1. New Year's Eve party - the first planning meeting was missed, and the chairperson later resigned. (Since then, a new chairperson has stepped up). New business: 1. Service Linkage - ideas were presented about informing our membership about volunteer opportunities. 2. Fellowship Activities - There is a need for additional fellowship activities. Ideas were discussed. Announcements: Springville Speaker Breakfast meeting is this Sunday. ====== At the Tulare County Central Office Inc business meeting: Old business: 1. Sound equipment we no longer use - Two members have expressed interest, and then a third asked about it too. Tabled to next month. New business: 1. The office manager as a voting member of the Board of Directors - discussed and passed, with the exception that the office manager will recuse from voting on matters regarding their own salary. 2. Website analytics - did we want to bring that back? Discussed and took no action. 3. Website meeting updates - should we ask the CSRs if they want their CSR report attached to the Meeting Guide data? Discussed, and will be presented to the CSRs for consideration at the September 12 CSR meeting. 4. Office manager attendance of CSR and Board Meetings - is this voluntary or mandatory? If mandatory, are the hours paid? Carol Ann will do a survey of other Intergroups to determine how they handle this. Tabled to next month.
