GSR Liaison meeting minutes 2023-09-06

Seven people attended; three in-person and four via Zoom.

Finances: No report.  Last month's ending balance was $1,987.30

DCM report: Allen attended the July Area Committee Meeting.
    Election Assembly 2023: Allen sent registration forms to all the GSRs.
    Post-Conference Assembly 2024: D41/D42 Fresno backed out; do we want to host?  GSRs should ask their groups if they would support it.  The conference would be May 18 - 19.  It typically has 100 to 150 attendees.

New business:
    Laura saw in The Grapevine that requests for stories from Native Americans for inclusion in the Fifth Edition of Alcoholics Anonymous are due October 31st.
    Nominations for the District 47 board will be held at this meeting next month.  Nominations will also be accepted in December and elections will be in December on the first Wednesday of the month.
    Members discussed attending the upcoming elections assembly.  Currently three people are planning to attend (and carpool).
