Every year, our Area 07 Delegate goes to New York City for the General Service Conference, where the decisions on the future of A.A. are made. Following that, we have a Post-Conference Assembly. This year, it will be in Merced, next weekend, May 16 and 17.
There will be reports on decisions made about an AA 12 step study guide workbook, moving the General Service Conference location, updates to the Big Book Stories in the upcoming 5th edition, the Plain and Simple Big Book amendment process, and much more. It is also a good introduction to seeing what General Service is like.
