We will have six planning meetings between now and then, every two weeks. The planning meeting will be in-person, at the Central Office, 449 E Maple St in Exeter. But also, you can join via Zoom.

The Keep It Simple Sunday (K.I.S.S.) meeting in Visalia is an outdoor meeting: we move the time twice a year to warmer or cooler times. Beginning June 2nd, we will meet at 9 AM instead of 10 AM. Please tell your friends.
Would you like to know what will be on the agenda at the General Service Conference in New York? Would you like to be able to give your GSR some informed feedback, as he or she presents your group’s opinion at the Pre-Conference Assembly? Then the District 47 Agenda Item Workshop 2024 is for you. It will be held at the Visalia Alano Club, from 2 PM to 4 PM on Sunday the 24th.
This year, the NorCal and SoCal Hospitals & Institutions Committees are jointly holding their annual conference in Bakersfield. If you are a part of H & I, this is a conference will not want to miss. And if you are not a part of H & I, but would like to find out why H & I is so rewarding, this would be a great opportunity to find out.
The April Bridging The Gap committee meeting would normally be held from 11:00 AM to noon on April 6th. But you may have heard about an event: Spring Into Sobriety 2024. It too, will be held on April 6th, and will include a BTG presentation. We’ll meet again on May 4th.
Saturday, March 23rd, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM our Area 07 Delegate, Mathew L. and other area officers are coming to Clovis, to inform and listen. Items to be worked on at the 2024 General Service Conference in New York will be discussed.
The Tulare County Bridging The Gap committee meets in-person at Central Office in Exeter on the first Saturday of the month. This meeting has been moved from 11 AM to noon. We will also set up Zoom for remote attendees.
Bridging The Gap is a Ninth Tradition service committee where members serve as temporary contacts for newcomers leaving treatment (“bridging the gap between the facility and their first AA meetings”).
If you would like to volunteer for this type of service, please join us at our committee meeting. We are preparing service material so that our committee members learn what we do, what we don’t do, and how this service work is best done.
